Come along and support this festival for World Wetlands Day and celebrate the vitally important Toondah Harbour wetlands that is being threatened by the mega high rise development proposed by Walker Corporation. Approximately 100 acres of this Ramsar listed wetlands is proposed to be destroyed to make way for dozens of 10 storey residential towers that will contain 3600 residential units.
Koala Action Group will have a display with information about the proposal and the importance of this area for the colony of resident koalas that will be negatively impacted if the development is approved.
