Swap your weeds for native trees
IndigiScapes’ Weeds for Trees Days are a brilliant reason to get out into your garden.
Some of the most common garden plants can become invasive weeds, competing with native species that are crucial for providing food and shelter to our local wildlife.
When these weeds infiltrate surrounding bushland, they can adversely affect biodiversity and local wildlife corridors on Redlands Coast.
Head outside and collect a bag or bucket of weeds, and come along to meet local Bushcare Officers and volunteers who will swap your weeds for a native plant. Maximum of five plants per person.
It’s great way for your to combat the spread of weeds in your local environment and receive some beautiful new plants for your garden.
