Celebrate World Environment Day and World Ocean Day at Redland City Council’s Environment and Community Fair at IndigiScapes Environment Education Centre, Native Botanic Gardens and Nursery.
Meet Ranger Stacey and a few of her ‘wild’ friends. Enjoy outdoor play with Sparky Do Dah, Nature Art and Craft and Face painting. First Five Forever will be here for the kids to enjoy their fun and interactive literacy program and storytelling.
Engage with local community, environmental, organic gardening, wildlife and marine organisations. Council health and environmental teams will also be available for you to learn more about environmental and disaster management planning initiatives in our community.
Meet the Koala Detection Dogs, as well as the team who work behind the scenes to bring virtual wildlife ambassador, Kylie Griffith to life, with more to see in our Theatrette.
The native nursery will be open for all of your plant advice and sales. Wander through the Gift shop and Discovery Centre to learn more about our natural environment and ways to experience a more sustainable lifestyle and care for our planet.
Enjoy live music, speakers, entertainment and food in the gardens and on the main stage throughout the day.
Start your day at the IndigiCafe for breakfast, or enjoy lunch on the deck, after experiencing local sustainable market stalls, fresh produce, delicious food, coffee , vegan food including really yummy vegan donuts, cakes and slices.
Participate in a suitcase rummage and rack sale, either as a buyer or seller($10 fee applicable).

Entry on the day is free and we ask you to be part of the plastic free ocean solution by bringing one small bag, or piece of soft plastic from home to recycle at our marine sculpture.

Event parking is located via Runnymede Road, or more parking is located on Lyndon Road and Korawal Street, where you can enjoy a short bush walk to our venue.
