Redland City Council has engaged Griffith University to develop a Dog Behaviour strategy for our residents (and their dogs) with the aim of reducing wildlife mortality and injury. Part of this strategy is the “Leave It “ campaign, which will focus on offering training opportunities for residents to teach their dogs to leave wildlife alone.
It’s a very exciting project and the official launch will be at a special day being held for residents and their dogs – Dog Fest (similar to the previous Dogs Day Out).
Please pass onto anyone you think will be interested in coming along and finding out more.
