NSI Minjerribah Urban Koala Survey

Essential Information:
Saturday 11th October 2025 | 7.55am to 4.55pm | North Stradbroke Island
Commitment: This survey is for a full day and requires a medium level of fitness.
Transport: At 7:55am you will depart Cleveland on the Gold Cat Water Taxi. On arrival at Dunwich terminal, we’ll transport you by bus to Point Lookout to start the survey. You’ll return to the mainland in the late afternoon.
Technology: Please download the new Redlands Koala Watch data collection form for the survey. Use this link Redlands Coast Koala Watch | Redland City Council and follow the instructions for “use the field app”. If you have any difficulty, please email wildlife@redland.qld.gov.au
You will need: A hat, water bottle, snacks, comfortable sturdy walking shoes and clothes, a smart phone that is Koala Watch ready, binoculars (if you have them) and a good sense of humour.
