Why is the research being conducted?
This research is being conducted to identify attitudes and behaviours towards koala conservation on
the Redlands Coast and the Annual Koala Awareness campaign. This project is a research
collaboration between Redlands City Council and Griffith University. This research is funded by
Redland City Council.

What you will be asked to do
You will be asked to fill out an online survey on koalas and the Redland Coast. It is estimated the survey takes no more than 10 minutes to complete.

The expected benefits of the research
This research aims to understand current community attitudes and gather insights to develop new
strategies for more effective communication on koalas that will contribute to koala conservation efforts in Redland City Council area. It is intended that the overall results and findings will be reported to Redland City Council councils and research results will be disseminated via journal articles, the media and / or conference presentations.
