World Wetlands Day aims to raise awareness about the importance of our wetlands.
Join the Community Bushcare team, in partnership with Healthy Land and Water, at Station Street Wetlands to celebrate World Wetlands Day with a Community Planting.
Members of Station Street Bushcare Group will be more than happy to talk about their site successes and wildlife spotted over the years, showcasing their dedication to preserving and restoring the wetlands for over 20 years.
On-site parking
Please note there is limited onsite parking. A shuttle will be available between 8.30-9.00 am, and 10.00-10.30 am, to and from the Wellington Point Commuter Car Park. It’s located approximately 800 metres from the site, at 55 Harris Street, Wellington Point.
What to bring
Enclosed shoes, sun protection and a water bottle. Community Bushcare Team supply plants, tools, sunscreen, insect repellent and gardening gloves.
Come learn about the importance of these ecosystems and take part in preserving them for future generations.
