The Toondah Harbour draft EIS (Environment Impact Statement) has been released and Birdlife Aust are holding a series of online information sessions to help community members better understand the process and how to write submissions.
The first one is tomorrow (Wednesday) November 2nd starting at 12.30pm, register your interest at https://www.actforbirds.org/savetoondah and a link will be emailed to you.
KAG will provide further information in coming weeks to assist with ideas for submissions, after we’ve properly perused the lengthy (more than 5000 pages) EIS document.
It is imperative that large numbers of submissions are sent to oppose this environmentally destructive development that threatens the koalas and also many other species of endangered wildlife that call the Toondah precinct home.
Some details of the draft EIS can be found at: https://redlands2030.net/category/toondah-harbour/
Submissions don’t have to be lengthy and multiple submissions will be accepted if you wanted to comment on different topics. There is no age limit for submitters, so children are welcome to send one too. Most importantly, include your name and address so it’s counted as a properly made submission.

Closing date for submissions is December 6th, 2022.
